I was attending Gatcombe International horse trials on behalf of e-Venting.co.uk in September and you can see a collection of my photos on their facebook page. Whilst there I also followed a good friend round who was competing at the eventing catching her in all three phases.
Gatcombe is a great event held in the ground of Princess Anne’s Gatcombe estate. It has great atmosphere and an impressive course making it the pinnacle event for many eventers’ for the year. The inclusion of a CIC* makes it an ideal end of season aim for the ambitious amateur wanting a taste of international competition and where better to come than Gatcombe. In addition to the CIC** there is a supporting cast of national classes at Novice and Intermediate and the event is incredibly well supported by professionals and amateurs alike.
Below is just a few photos from her day of competition.
If you have always wanted to get those behind the scenes photos and to be followed throughout the day consider hiring me to follow you for the day. I will capture moments through out the day from getting ready to washing down plus all the competition action in between. You needn’t be competing affiliated or even eventing. Please get in contact if you are interested in me following you for you day at an event.
Please note that my photos from Gatcombe are not for sale and you should contact the official photographer Stephen Sparkes.
